We're Going to PALAU!!!!

Friday, April 05, 2013

We are already in Palau...
but for the WiS5% Challenge Team our next destination is PALAU.
Thanks to the team leaders for choosing this as our next destination!

We are in the same timezone as Japan:

I've been able to change my timezone on SP and in my signature box for the local times.

So, assuming I can get online... (internet is so slow, my BodyMedia Fit CANNOT connect to the internet) Hoping there will be some kind of solution for this... if not... I'll lose a lot of data recording. Which is the most motivating thing to me... But I know what to do... record my food, stay under calories... and work my butt off... the results will show on the scale. :)

There won't be any videos posted... it's just too slow... I'll try to post pictures... TRY!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!! I'm here... but it's bitter sweet... if you remember me talking about my cousin that passed away in October, his father passed away yesterday... I really wanted to see him and tell him I love him and sorry for his loss... but now I've lost the opportunity.

Everything hasn't sunk in yet... but when it does... I'll really be looking like the above emoticon.

I've gained 3.4 lbs. It's expected since I only got one day of exercise in this whole week, (yesterday, ran/walked my first EVER 10K. I've never done a 5K, let alone a 10K, so that was an amazing experience and very motivating).

On another positive note... I got a full body massage yesterday. In Palau it's $20 for an hour. Who on earth would pass that up????? Now if I could only make some money and do it every week, that would be GREAT!!!

OK, gotta go...

Thanks for stopping by....

BTW, Thanks to everyone who posted on my Throwback Thursday blog...
It will take me some time, but I plan on getting back to each one of you.

emoticon on the 10K. I'm registered for my first 5K in 10 days! I'm slow, but I will do it!

Enjoy your time there. I'm sure it's beautiful...looking forward to pics, even if it's after you get where you have faster internet.
