Three days done. *Pat on the back*
Today I was almost out of fruit, and needed some veggie add-ons so I went to the grocery store during lunch to restock. I also found recipes for a Paleo mayo and bbq sauce. You see, I had a hankering for a Carolina pulled pork sandwich with slaw.
Granted, half of that goodness is not OK on the paleo plan, so I settled for a chicken version sans the bun. It ended up being sliced bbq chicken over homemade slaw with homemade mayo/dressing, sorta like a salad. Not exactly what I wanted, but pretty good nonetheless. Plus, the sauce and mayo made plenty for saving for another meal.
After work I went for a 4 mile run with the dog. Went fine though felt a little gassy - maybe too much cabbage at lunch in that slaw?
Dinner was chicken Thai soup with coconut milk added and vegetables (red bell pepper, fresh garlic, green beans). Very filling and tasty. I went out to a musical and when I got home about 3.5 hours later I was HUNGRY. Snacked on some raw walnuts and had a cup of tea. Worked alright.
Still pining for a cookie. But making it through.
