OK. I admit it. I get impatient when it comes to losing weight and I'm really focusing on correcting this. I gained ten pounds during tax season and I want them off now, so I can resume seeing the results I was getting BEFORE I allowed myself to fall off the wagon.
I know it won't happen overnight. I know that I can't just start working out with extreme intensity every day for 2 hours and get there - my body and mind has limits.
What I DO have to focus on is consistency. For example, I gained .1lb yesterday, after walking an hour10 min and eating well and drinking water. Well, I did go over calories a little and I was super thirsty when I went to bed so I'm probably retaining a bit of water. Walking an hour more than before isn't going to drop the 10 pounds overnight. But increasing my workouts over time as my body allows it will work. I WILL see results soon. I just have to keep my eye on the prize.
