Well, Easter weekend was a bump in the road... I overate on sugary sweets... pie, brownies, creme brulee! Not to mention ALL of the Easter candy.
It took a few days to get it all out of my system, but now I'm back on track. I'm a little off schedule on my mini-goals for April (I was hoping to be back at 125lbs by April 11... but my last Sunday weigh-in was 133.6lbs---eeekk), but I know I still have plenty of time to realign with my goals. I already feel better after cutting out refined sugars and processed carbs for just a few days. I'm back to the gym as usual, doing my ST and cardio days. I just need to push my water intake, since I've been getting less than optimal lately.
Overall, I'm not beating myself up over this, just moving forward! Back to life as usual.. doing some house-cleaning, planning dinner for tonight, taking it easy on the carbs since I'm already a little on the higher side for today (ate like 3 cups of grapes after the gym--they were so yummy I couldn't resist): broccoli rabe with lean chicken sausage, lots of garlic and crushed red pepper flakes for heat and flavor! I'm only at 4 cups of water today, so before I eat anything else, I'll be sure to drink a glass or 2. In fact, I'm craving a nice cool glass as soon as I finish this..
