After reading all the stuff about conditions and medications, and finding info that strength training is vital, I got up this morning rarin' to go and popped in No More Trouble Zones. 35 minutes into the workout, my muscles just turned to jelly and I had to stop. I couldn't even do the floor exercises. What a weakling! No...the thing is that I've been doing monster amounts of cardio without much strength. I do believe that I've lost some muscle tone, and definitely muscular endurance. I can jump around for hours, but those five-pound weights (and halfway through I switched to 2 pound weights) just kicked my butt. I have no energy.
Maybe I'll start the 30 Day Shred over from the beginning. If I can combine that with making sure to add enough protein to my diet, that might be something.
