Good friend has been training so hard for his first 1/2 marathon this Sunday in SF. He and his wife had raised funds in memory of someone they had lost.

And 2 days ago he took a tumble down the last part of some stairs. He goes into surgery today for his very broken ankle.

All those Tough Mudders and 1/2 marathons that he planned to do this year? Doctor says nothing for a year.

Just stinks.

I am sure your friend will come out even stronger with a whole new appreciation on the other side of this.........what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
