Last night was a cheat meal (first I've had in over a week). I'm pretty sure I needed it... and it wasn't really bad food or anything, and the portion wasn't crazy, just high in sodium. So I'm not feeling bad about the gain, I think it's mostly water weight and I'm looking forward to next week's weigh-in. I'm refocusing today and making my meal plan for the week to make sure I get a good number on the scale next week (low sodium, no carbs at dinner, tons of fruits and veggies, lots of fiber all week long, and I will definitely not have another cheat meal until AFTER next week's weigh-in). I am a little bit behind my 100 lb in 1 year schedule, but I know I can catch up! It's just motivating me even more to do great next week.
My running is going really well!! I'm feeling really... just, healthy. Like, it used to almost kill me, but now it's just fun and makes me feel good each time I do it. I know I am making fitness gains... and my energy levels and my mood are both great. I haven't needed to ice anything lately, so I guess my body is adapting and getting stronger. I'm really proud of myself for being so consistent. Overall, I am pleased with my progress, despite scale fluctuations -- I'm looking at the big picture, and it's looking great.
