My Husband, Tom

Friday, April 05, 2013

Please pray for my husband. He needs a colonoscopy, but he has A-Fib and has a couple of special needs before doing it. Please pray that he and his doctors are all on the same page. He becomes very scared before each procedure and his BP raises quite a lot (Not uncommon, but it raises it more because of Tom's fears. We are going to the urologist to see if the Dr approves; the cardiologist for a blood test; and lastly the gastrointestinal Dr to schedule his app't. We have a great network of physicians from Princeton to Philly.

After Tom is done, I have to have to go to the Gynecologist and get my yearly physical, possibly to the cardiologist, and then to Princeton Plainsboro surgeons to get a new prescription for new support hose with zippers. It is more of an annoyance than anything else, but it must be done. (Heavy sigh)....LOL

Thanks for letting us know how both of you are doing. It sounds like you are both holding your own and I am very glad. I have been holding you both up in my prayers and will continue to do so. Thanks for letting us know. Take care. emoticon emoticon emoticon

To all who answered, it went somewhat OK. His prep was not all that good. He followed everything to a T. The DR said to me that there were 4 benign polyps and 4 pre-cancerous polyps, but that was all he could see. He removed all 8 and sent them to a lab. He has to go for a colonoscopy every two yrs. His heart remained stable, but I think his blood pressure was a little high, to say the least.

Every night, after prayers, Tom tells me to have a good sleep. I respond with, "Please awaken tomorrow. His eyes and ears are both OK. He had his colonoscopy at the Princeton center on Alexander Rd. I had mine at the new Princeton Plainsboro hospital because they have to use children size instruments on me. Plus, I get chest pains on exertion. We both have to go to the cardiologist prior to any procedure.

Keep us in your prayers or thoughts as we will you. Hugs Judy
