Eating Schedule

Today's challenge is to "eat by the clock". I think I do this already: I cook my breakfast immediately upon waking because I ALWAYS wake up hungry:) Within a couple of hours after breakfast I start thinking about food and reach for my banana or apple, whichever I see first. Then, within a couple of hours, I'm hungry AGAIN so I eat my lunch. That seems to hang on more than breakfast (I have no idea why because my breakfast is actually my biggest meal of every day). I'll eat my other fruit several hours after lunch and sometimes my rice cake topped with cottage cheese. (my rice cake/cottage cheese snack sometimes gets consumed before lunch) I keep my 1/8 or 1/4 cup of almonds to munch on throughout the whole day. This works great for me. Dinner is always light and soon after that it's lights out for the day. This body enjoys sleeping because it knows that the minute it wakes up it's going to be fed AGAIN:) It's such a wonderful feeling knowing I've actually conquered the bad habits of yesteryear and am moving into a true healthy lifestyle. One step at a time, yes. Each step is well worth every ounce of effort I can put into it. And THAT gets easier and more fulfilling every single day.

    You eating plan sounds right on!!! I tend to eat small meals/snacks through out the day.. not one who can skip meals... drink lots and lots of water, too!
