spring cleaning

Friday, April 05, 2013

yes indeed, it is the time of year that I long to set the dust bunnies free and so I have been busy. Today's task found me dumping out all my drawers, sorting , refolding and downsizing. End result was 2 laundry baskets ofclothing that are in good condition, but now look frumpy, loose and baggy on me. a non scale victory as I packed the clothing for the thrift store, knowing that some one else who is "downsizing" will be able to enjoy the coming season in something "new". I found a pair of capris in size 14 that fit quite nicely thankyou. My journey started feeling snug in size 24. Last summer found me in size 20. I am looking forward to being comfortable in a size 12- hopefully by the end of the year. Right now the scale is stuck, but it still feels good to be able to shop in smaller sizes.
