It was a dreary day here but it looks like we will have lovely weekend weather WOOOO HOOOO
I spent alot of the day driving which meant not alot of movement/ steps. I ate ok, and walked the dogs three times (3/4 mile)-I believe that is one of the most positive changes I've made. No matter what other activity I get in -those three short walks are a foundation for my working out.
The scale just "hem-haws" around-lol-the southern speak for not doin' much. BUT it is less than where I started on DEC 31! After the last few years I believe I screwed up my metabolism (lingering illness+ open heart surgery+ laying on the couch alot, oh and eating like a maniac!). I hope that consistently making better choices will turn that around-I BELIEVE it will. I know it can't hurt!!!! Anyway maybe one day soon , the scale will reflect that -with a big jump down on the scale. I'm not holding my breath and it's all good if that doesn't happen. But it would be nice
