It was a dreary day here but it looks like we will have lovely weekend weather WOOOO HOOOO

I spent alot of the day driving which meant not alot of movement/ steps. I ate ok, and walked the dogs three times (3/4 mile)-I believe that is one of the most positive changes I've made. No matter what other activity I get in -those three short walks are a foundation for my working out.

The scale just "hem-haws" around-lol-the southern speak for not doin' much. BUT it is less than where I started on DEC 31! After the last few years I believe I screwed up my metabolism (lingering illness+ open heart surgery+ laying on the couch alot, oh and eating like a maniac!). I hope that consistently making better choices will turn that around-I BELIEVE it will. I know it can't hurt!!!! Anyway maybe one day soon , the scale will reflect that -with a big jump down on the scale. I'm not holding my breath and it's all good if that doesn't happen. But it would be nice emoticon

    I'm glad you are continuing to make "you" a priority. You don't have to spend hours on the treadmill to make a difference - I mean, it can't hurt - but it isn't necessary. Over time - the work you are doing is going to make a difference. Keep up the positive attitude and keep reaching for your goals!

    Just keep doing what your doing. The scale may not show much progress, but I bet you are seeing a big difference in how you feel and your energy levels, and that's always a reason to keep going! I hope you have a great weekend and definitely get out and enjoy the nice weather. I think it's finally Spring in TN!

    You're doing great with your consistency, which is what is important. One of these days that scale will jump and surprise you. Just hang in there.
