Thinking about BLC21

Thursday, April 04, 2013

So far this round, I have lost 0 pounds. Well, that is not entirely true. I have lost 6.7 lbs. It is just that I keep finding them again. Wish my record for finding socks was that good! For some reason, the winter BLC rounds are always the hardest for me when it comes to actually losing weight and keeping it off. Yersh.

What else have I accomplished this round? Well, that is a good question. The pouting perfectionist is quick to pop in with a loud Nothing! but perhaps that is not entirely accurate. Just a minute while I stuff the pouting perfectionist into a desk drawer.

Ok, let's think.

Are those crickets chirping?

BLC21 Accomplishments:
During BLC 21, I:
Gave up TV at home
Had several long tracking streaks - and did not hate tracking
Drank 8 glasses of water or more several times
Took up downhill skiing and conquered fear
Spent a lot of time with people

Not much here that is earth-shattering, but the closer I get to maintenance, the more I will have to focus on day-to-day healthy choices. I am currently 9 lbs from my goal weight (and 19 from my dream weight...ugh).

This weekend, I am going to work as hard as I can on our final weekend challenge, and finish BLC21 on a high note!

Those are all great accomplishments! It was fun to be on the same team with you and learn a little about Japan, too.

So it wasn't a total loss LOL. Seriously, you've picked up some pretty good habits. The weight loss will come.

It's been a lot of fun sharing the last 5 challenges with you.
