Tuesday I did run 1.5, walk 3 intervals and got cold while walking.
Today I set the app for run 1.5, walk 2 intervals that I felt I could have done Tuesday. The weather was better than Tuesday: Sunshine, a light west breeze, and 43° F that warmed to 47° F while I was out. I dressed for running at 10 degrees colder, and was mostly okay. I did feel a little warm later in the session, on a walking interval; but it wasn't bad.
It came out to 3.56 miles in 35 minutes, for an average pace of 9:50 per mile and 15 minutes of running time. This felt closer to running than with the longer walking intervals, and stretching didn't feel quite so pointless.
Tomorrow needs to be a non-running day, even if I feel like running. I think I found the limit of what my sore leg will do today; on Saturday or Sunday when I get out again, it will be 1.5 minute running intervals, but perhaps more of them. Have to see how the leg reacts from today. So far, so good; but tomorrow will be a better indicator.
