I've been slacking on my posts:
Week 4 Walk 2, didn't do until Saturday morning and only 28 minutes (I had to get to work but didn't get up super early).
Week 4, Walk 3: I was going to do my long walk Saturday night or Sunday morning. The weather was gorgeous and we ended up doing a 6 mi bike ride instead, which is better than not doing anything but I missed the long walk
I also bruised both of my legs on the pedals somehow, though I have no idea when.
Week 5, Walk 1: my husband went back to working nights
Not happy about it (also the reason I didn't walk Thursday or Friday last week as I was spending time with him). I left work early in the morning but was feeling a little better and didn't want to miss another walk so I did two of the walking inside workout videos, each about 25 min. The second one was fit walk and I used weights while walking so that got a strength workout in, too. Not the same though, as you step differently.
Week 5 cross train/walk 2: I did a short easy walk to get the kids from the rec center after work then did 20 minutes of cardio dancing, though I kept being interrupted by my daughter with questions about her science fair project, which was due this morning. We were both up late and I didn't get to bed until after midnight (I was nice and printed out her charts and pictures so she could go to bed since everything written was done). This leads to walk 2 as I successfully got up at 5 am and went on a walk. Walked to the rec center, used the treadmill about 27 minutes, then walked back (had to be at work by 7 am). I didn't do three miles but I did walk on an incline at a fast pace. Total walking time was about 42 minutes and I'm estimating I did between 2 1/3 to 2 1/2 miles.
My legs are a little sore, probably from the bruises primarily, so I am going to try and do some strength tonight - arms and core - and get to bed early.
