I just signed up to do one of the virtual 5k races. I figured I might as well try to give myself a goal to reach for with my exercise. I'm doing the walking. not running. So I'm going to start training. the most I've walked to date has been 2.5. and my race is the last week of May. So I have to time to increase my speed. My oldest daughter has signed up for SP and I'm trying to get her to go to the gym and walk on the treadmill with me.,only problem with that is she can only go in the morning and I'm not a morning person. But I have decided to do it anyway because it's nice having someone to walk with especially the treadmill. It gets fairly boring, but with the rain and weather we've been having that's pretty much our choice.
