Bits of This & That

So many days I just have no idea what to say in my blog here on SP. Do I say "I started off with a healthy breakfast, veggie-filled lunch, and then ate ice cream and cake and a huge fatty dinner"? Nah. That's why I haven't posted in over a week. I start over every single morning and by mid-day I am back at the mercy of food once again. It is such a strong addiction for me!

The good news (there is some good news!) Is that I have kept up with water aerobics with my daughter and we both love it so much! We've had several different teachers and it's so much fun. It is definitely going to be the mainstay of my workouts for the next several months at least.

Stress here is pretty bad. My ulcer has been acting up (a combination of not eating right and lots of stress?) and I've been in pain.

I've been doing a Beth Moore Bible study called "Jesus, The One and Only" and that gives me direction. Church is a big part of what is keeping me whole right now. That and my kids of course!

I took my girls to the Detroit Institute of Art on Tuesday and we had lunch at PF Changs (my sister was with us and she had a gift certificate, so it was a free afternoon!). Yesterday I spent the afternoon just me and my boy. Love my kids so much :)

So yes, I am starting over today. I am TRACKING. I need a couple of strong days to get back into the swing of things.

I have a job interview at 4 pm today for a bookkeeping position. If you are a pray-er, PLEASE send up a prayer for me to get this job! It will make all the difference. I appreciate it!

Breakfast is a ham, veggie and cheese omelet (lean ham, light cheese) and a Greek yogurt. Lunch is going to be homemade bean soup. Dinner is going to be chicken and veggie stir fry over brown rice.

I plan to do water aerobics at 530, as long as my job interview doesn't run too long!

Have a great day,

Praying that you will get the job. Please, share with us the news. So, glad you have found something that you love doing. It does not feel like exercise when it is something that you love. I know I repeated myself. SORRY! I have faith in you and that you will get back on track real soon. My hubby and I are doing the 17 Day Diet together and I love it. In a weeks time I released 7 pounds and he has released 3. 5 more days on cycle 1 and then onto cycle 2. Cycle 2 is carb cycling days lets see what that will be like. One day cycle 1 eating and next day cycle 2 eating. I am excited about these results and feeling good about everything. Have a great weekend.

I think tracking is the best tool- sometimes I track before I eat so I won't change my mind.
Good luck on the interview- I finally got a job after trying for 6 months so I understand how important it is.
