Thank you everyone for your positive thoughts and suggestions. My main goal is to hydrate! I will be looking for coconut water and adding lemon to my water. I will also drink the Gatorade.
It's funny though, as I said before that I was so into fruits and veggies and not so much meat. But I am changing my thinking and am committed to doing what the doctor recommends. But it is hard to eat all those things that you worked so hard to limit when losing weight and maintaining. It's kind of scary. I thought yesterday that I ate a lot. Big hamburger, potato chips, 2 big slabs of provolone cheese, egg....I was a bit worried about the scale but have already told myself that right now the scale is not as important to me as feeling well. So here's the weird news.....I was down to 107.5 this morning. What is up with that? So today I will eat more protein again and not as much fruits and veggies. Maybe I will have my DH grill some steaks or pork loin.
Even better news is that I feel good today. I will get the hang of this!
