So, I've been pretty consistent in going to SparkCoach immediately after logging in here daily and spinning the wheel for my initial points. I wish I could say I had been consistent in doing the Fast Break tasks I've set myself but, not so much. Sure, I check them off and intend to do them but. . .
Surprisingly, that is one of the ways SparkCoach is helping me most. You have to know your problem well, have it identified, before you can solve it. It's easy to say, "Oh, I don't exercise enough" but day after day I'm checking a block that says I'm exercising/going to exercise 10 minutes a day and it's darn hard to ignore that. . .lie.
Some days I get in enough to qualify; Tuesday the cleaning lady came and before that I was a mad woman doing heavy duty lifting, moving, sorting, laundering, etc. beforehand to make the task easier. Even last night and today, we're having an appraiser show up any minute so I was trying to make the "junk" room a bit more presentable (6 years of dust in the corners of the room, bare hangers on the wall missing pictures, cat litter boxes that needed cleaning :-) and it's recycling day so I had to get that in the correct bin and to the curb, new indoor bag from upstairs, etc.
I realized just this morning though that all my "exercise" comes first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Otherwise I'm still sitting here at the computer working hard on my computer research. Gotta break that up!
SparkCoach doesn't push, it's not obnoxious or boring, it's steady and "there" where I can access it and be reminded of what I have said that I myself want! I think it is a great tool.
