Rise & Shine, Day #3

Had a good day, food wise, today. Started with a Mixed Berry, Banana, Spinach, Avocado, Kefir & Almond Milk and Chia Seeds Smoothie this morning. Couldn't finish it all, because I had to head out early to the dentist. I had the rest just before lunch. For lunch I fixed steamed spinach topped with two poached eggs, plus a cucumber salad. Tonight, we went to the Wednesday buffet dinner at the club. I figured, I could pick and choose. Started with a big mixed salad, with a small amount of citrus dressing. Had some of dh's soup, broth with mussels and shrimp and some veggies, followed by a small piece of baked salmon. I thought, I did very well, considering that I ignored the made-to-order pasta with all the trimmings. Never touched the dessert table, not did I have any wine. I came in under my calories, today, but this is ok, as I never felt hungry all day.
I still did not exercise enough. Just a 25 min. walk. trainer came to visit to find out when I would be ready to resume my sessions with her. I need to check my calendar.

    I haven't got into the smoothies yet, because I don't think I'll feel satisfied if I drink my meals. I'd really rather have something I can chew.

It sounds like you did awesome at the club buffet. Excellent choices!
