1) I had the blue smoothie but not the green one
2) I ate 6 servings of veggies and fruits =(
3) I did my C25K
4) I did my Sarah Conners pullups workout
5) I studied Chinese half-heartedly
I have been slacking on the Green Smoothie again. It is easy to get a smoothie for breakfast in the morning but the later it gets in the day, the less likely I am to eat that second smoothie, and the problem with having the Green Smoothie for breakfast is that I don't want to go off to school with onion and garlic breath. I don't think ANY toothpaste would freshen my breath after that Green smoothie. So I have the Blue one for breakfast and hope to have the Green one for supper, but most days it never happens.
But I do have a plan to increase my odds of actually drinking that Green Smoothie most days.
My littlest son (age 15) is the one that usually volunteers to make my smoothies, if I just remember to ask him. But he doesn't remember on his own because (obviously) it is a lot more important to me than it is to him.
So this Friday I am going to get $30 in one-dollar bills and give them all to Dominic and he can count them and look at them and keep them but not spend them, until the end of the month. And the deal is, any day I don't actually DRINK the Green Smoothie, he has to give back that day's dollar.
He has already plotted out how he's going to spend that $30 ha ha ha
Now the odds have significantly increased that HE will remind ME to drink it, or even make it for me around the time I'm suppose to be home, because he now has a real reason to help me remember to drink it. And if I could just remember it for a few weeks, hopefully the habit would be established.
My second late-start class began today, and its so fun! I love these International Studies classes. This one is about Global Cultures and learning to recognize when you are being ethnocentric and move from judging to exploring diverse cultures. I would have been the happiest student in the world if I could have majored in International Studies but sadly I can't see making a living from that degree. But that, combined with my business double-header, now that is marketable!
I had a good day today.
Tomorrow (Thursday) is my worst day of the week, and I am already dreading it.
