Although I have other goals, such as fitness, I am half-way to my weight loss goal. I've lost 24 lbs in the last 13 weeks, and I have 24 more to go. There is something rewarding about knowing I've made it this far. I felt like it was slow and steady, but it has matched up to what I thought when I wrote out my goals. I'm sure that I will have to make a few adjustments for when the weight loss slows down. I'm looking forward to riding my bike more and hiking while I visit friends.
When I feel like I'm not making progress, I read motivational stories from others here on SP, and I go over my goals. I'm cooking a lot and making new recipes. I try to limit processed foods and anything with a lot of chemicals. I buy foods without added salt as much as possible. I don't have high blood pressure, but too much sodium is so unhealthy.
I'm grateful to all the people on here who share their stories. You really are motivating everyone else.
