Ch-ch-ch-changes!!

This week is filled with changes: it’s Spring Break. No school, so no work for me! Time to deep clean the house (did it)! Time to finish last week’s grading/projects (did it)!! Time to exercise and swim like crazy! Screeching halt sound!! The pool that I use is closed this week.
As a person who regularly experiences pain from osteoarthritis AND a hypo thyroid, I’m not usually interested in doing any exercises outside of my regular routine. So the pool closing threw me for a BIG LOOP.
Conversely, I do love exercise. So I requested help from Spark Coach and got a great, new idea. But then, I hesitated. Would the SP Coach’s suggestion of “spinning” / interval training on the stationary bike make me hurt as the swimming did at first? Would I be able to walk the next day? Would I be able to handle the pain? Would it be as bad as when my knees were replaced?
I tried it anyway – Monday was pretty tentative but today was better. I wasn’t so scared and I feel like I followed the SP program. IT WAS FUN!! And I sweated LIKE A FOUNTAIN! YAY! So tomorrow I’ll know how it all worked out (in the soreness category).
