I heard today referred to as "Workout Wednesday"!

Wednesday, April 03, 2013

After the kids were off to school, not only was I unmotivated due to lack of sleep last night, but extremely sore from last nights work out. It is coming up on that "tom" again, and so my pain from that and the muscle cramping in my legs kept me from doing too much today. I did manage to get outside and do some work around the house for about 30 minutes and then after studying tonight I did a little over 30 minutes of weight lifting. I can feel the burn and that's good. I will make the attempt at getting a bath tonight, I enjoy that time, right up until my muscles cant handle it. I really am interested in talking to someone else who may have some of the same workout issues I do. I had a severe heat stroke about two years ago and was hospitalized. Ever since then, I cannot seem to do as much as I use to without pain and that pain is enough to keep me up all night at times. Anyways, I feel accomplished with the amount I did get done, and I with weigh in approaching again, I want to see some results!

Try to start at easy pace and gradually increase your workout intensity. There's no such thing as "No Pain, No Gain". If you feel pain, better stop then continue. If it's hot outside, do your exercises indoor/shaded area.

    Good luck!

Give it your best effort and then just be proud you stayed active. It is all about movement not how fast you do it. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

You are doing your best Jamee, and that's what counts! Also, don't forget to take a rest day so you don't burn out too fast!

I think it is a great way to think of Wednesday.

Just remember you are only trying to better yourself not anyone else or their successes
