Had a appointment at the VA Clinic at the pulmonary dept to test my oxygen level, and of course to fill out a warning paper not to smoke while i am using oxygen. Yes i agree it is flammable i learned that in high school welding class...but i listened to the tech and signed my name to the paper and then it was off to the races...while i was just sitting still my oxygen level never got above 90 it was fluttering between 87 and 90 while i was just sitting there. Well we took a little walk and i know it could not have been more than a half mile with stops in between so i could catch my breathe, well we finally made it back to the room and she informed me that while we was walking she kept having to adjust my oxygen flow up to 5, the last time i had this checked it was only at 2 and now when i am up and moving around i have to set my concentrator to 5 instead of 2 like i have been..My COPD must be getting worse..another doctors appointment is needed to get that checked.and we chatted about how life was going and she asked if i was still using my cipap machine and i actually was taken back when she knew what day i had a appointment date,to get my machine...but now a days if they can send a machine to mars than knowing a appointment date..so its another 19or 18 days now..and my beard can grow a little longer. maybe I will take a picture of it when i save it the night before my appointment date..I should look a little like Santa then...it did feel good to be out in the sun though even though it was only in the 40's here..
Hope everyone has a good evening..
So, they STILL will make you wait the 18 days??!! INCREDIBLE!! I mean, the numbers said it all. I had no idea until I met you, how bad the VA treats their veterans. It is deplorable! On the up side, it is just over 2 weeks from now and you will be sleeping like a baby! AND, hopefully by then, you can have your little dog fixed too so that you don't have to deal with that too. Take care. Love, Chelsea 1421 days ago
