You should DEF take before pictures. You don't need to post them, but you will be happy you have them once you are done.

I agree, take the pics for you, whether you decide to post them or not is up to you.

definitely take the pictures... sharing is up to you. As others have said, its a reference for you and to see how far you have gone. Good luck.

emoticon Pictures are invaluable as Markers of Our Progress!! I have never been Scared by anything I saw in a "Before" Picture.

Mirrors update daily with the new you. Your brain starts to see the new you and forget the old you every time you look in the mirror. The mirror changes depending on what mood you're in also, you might think you look great one day because you lost 5 pounds, but then you only lose 1 and then you start to see the flaws again. Tricky thing, those mirrors.

Looking at a picture is different, it's a snapshot in time that won't change. It reminds you of what you looked like that day.

But that's just how I see those items.

Take the pictures for your own reference. You may decide to share but that will be your decision.

Take them whether you decide to post them or not. They're for you, not us.

    How do mirrors lie?

I suggest taking the picture, even if you don't post it. You will have a reference point for yourself. I find that people love to see the difference, even in the first month. Pictures don't lie, but mirrors do.
