incredibly beautiful day despite dropping cell phone in sink

Wednesday, April 03, 2013

A cell phone is a handy tool. I have my Spark app that can scan most any food bar code.

However, dropping mine in the sink today---------yes, it was an accident, has allowed me to NOT be hooked up to the little machine.

I'm happily unplugged although driving without it felt a little weird.

I remembered how I as a college student would drive from north Louisiana all the way down to LSU with no phone and never gave it a thought.

and my morning run isn't complete without my cell phone in my pocket....just in case

Well, I hope the little machine can dry out and be functional. I would hate to lose all those pictures.

For now, I'm enjoying the break.

I would be lost without mine as well. Good luck with drying it out. The rice ideas sound like winners!

Yes, take the back off, take the battery out and seal it up in a bag of rice for 24 hours.
    Good luck.

Bummer about the phone. Hopefully it will work when it dries out. I think I've read that you should bury it in rice as that will help suck all the moisture out.

    Good luck!
