The title of this blog pretty much sums it up today, haha. Just wanted to have a little mini rant.
I've been following Jamie Eason's Live Fit program, & eating clean as much as possible. Can I just say, that we're on week 3 & I *still* have not mastered how to get breakfast in within an hour of waking up! Especially since this plan wants you to eat egg whites & veggies, so I'm cooking it up. I spend my mornings getting the kids ready to head out to school, while cooking my breakfast & somehow, even if I microwaved my eggs & veggies, I never seem to be able to get it into my mouth before 9am. (I tend to get up around 7...hate me if you must, lol, but I also don't go to be until around midnight, usually later.)
Anywho! This meal plan has you eating every 2-3 hours...but we have lots of premade stuff that goes along with it & that hubs & I prep on Sundays. Pumpkin protein bars & mini chicken meatloaf muffins-- yum! Those are for the "tweener" mini meals. Where I've been hitting a mental roadblock is with lunch & dinner. I love eating clean...I love how I feel & how my body feels...but I'm so sick of all the flavors in my kitchen & thinking of meal ideas!
I know this phase will pass, just like anything else, but yesterday & today I'm just sick of thinking about it. I don't even think Pinterest could lure me back in today, lol. Maybe I'm just in need of a meal that I don't have to cook...
