Trying to get back on track

Hi Sparkers. Just a quick update. Iíve been trying to make some little changes amidst a whole pile of failures. I say that, because thatís how itís been feeling. That said, something seems to have taken hold the last few days and Iíve been able to find some motivation to make almost all good choices rather than just the odd few.

I donít know if it will stick. I am just taking it one day at a time. My focus is just on getting my fitness up for soccer and riding, and making some better food choices.

Iím in a good spot right now. I got the house cleaning under control, Iíve filed for divorce (now itís just a waiting game for about 3 months), Iím finally moving to a new barn/trainer next weekend (and actually my horse has been going really well the last little bit), Iím getting a new co-worker in my job (there are supposed to be two of me Ė the last guy moved to another office last feb Ė they hired someone grossly incompetent and she is only being replaced now). So things are looking pretty good. All of these things make it seem more possible to focus on weight loss.

    Great attitude!! As you take it one day at a time, making your small changes, you will build on strengths. You have to know that this is a stressful time in your life, but sounds like you've handled a lot of stress already and come through it. Doing the best you can to take good care of yourself is a great way to go. Best wishes!

    It sounds like you've had a lot of stress in your life and are making positive changes. That should make everything else easier and as you said will allow you to focus. Good luck!
