Eating Primal - Day 3 - Grain Withdraw

In all of the books I have read about switching to paleo or primal they all have a glimpse into what many refer to as grain withdraw. It happens to some and not others. The degree of the symptoms also varies. I can only tell you what is happening to me.
Last night I had another severe migraine. I'm now convinced this is directly correlated to my change in eating. This time I barely made it home because my aura came on strongly within minutes. I was at the grocery store considering coconut flour and the pain washed over me. Thankfully I made it home before it was debilitating.
Monday's migraine lasted 3 hours and I was able to work. This one completely knocked me out and lasted over 6 hours. Today I'm tired and decided to have a day to take it easy. I also looked into getting some magnesium supplements. I know this is not primal or paleo but I have to do what I have to do. At least until this withdraw is over.
Most people will say why are you doing this to yourself...just eat a freakin piece of bread. I believe this experience has furthered my beliefs. I have been getting ample nutrients including carbohydrates and am still having these symptoms. There must be some other additive in these foods. Something is wrong when you eat something and it makes you sick and when you stop eating it, it causes severe withdraw symptoms like a drug would. Again, all I can say is my experience, but I will not give up on being healthier.
