Mid-week Check-In

The week is going well! The scale is improbably tending down even though I'm in the throes of TOM. The first two days were rough but I'm feeling a lot better today. Hopefully, it will be smooth sailing (and weight loss!) from here on out. Only 5 pounds to meet my goal for April!

I found out yesterday that I was named a Sparkpeople Motivator! I'll be honest, this is a long time dream come true for me. I joined the site in the earliest days but never really used it until 2009. Since then, I've made many Sparkfriends, tried to motivate others and, of course, drawn a ton of inspiration from the site. So being named motivator --like the people who inspired me-- is really an honor.

I've been eating a ton of protein which has been awesome. I've also been eating a ton of nuts but it does not really appear to be harming my progress so I will continue enjoying them. emoticon

I've been making all my workouts even though TOM has made it a struggle. Basically, life is pretty good! I will keep striving for my goal. I'll be happy with a pound lost this week!
