This week I lost 1.6lbs because I have been sticking to my 2 rules
- No eating after 8pm (2 week streak)
- No eating any intolerant foods (1 week streak)
For whatever reason, all I basically did in March was gain weight. My monthly weight from March to April was a 1lb gain. But Iíve pulled it together because things were getting out of control with my sneaking in food that my body just canít handle.
Iím adding in another rule for this week that will help
Ė Snacks have to include at least 1 vegetable
The vegetables will be able to fill me up without filling me out. I roasted some cauliflower yesterday and I purchased some baby carrots to go with my hummus. I have 50/50 spring mix that I can use to bulk up sandwiches and the like. We always have a ton of frozen veggies as well.
Focusing on one thing each week seems to be working and not making me too overwhelmed. I feel like Iím in control of my healthy eating and I feel like NOW I will get to my goal. Only 3lbs to go and then the next phase.
Iím going to give myself a 6 week maintenance period, like WW does or did. Then if I can maintain my weight, I will officially declare myself at goal. One problem though, I have a 7 night cruise planned for May
