Small steps

Wednesday, April 03, 2013

Well, I finally got out of bed this morning and walked for 15 minutes. It wasn't as long or as intense as I normally go, but I DID IT! My knee started aching about halfway through, so I dialed back the intensity. I am going to look up some exercises and stretches that will hopefully help with that.

My breakfast wasn't as good this morning as I have done in the past, but I logged every bit of it. I've not been logging like I should. It is easier to ignore the poor choices when I'm not logging. I do have a decent salad and sandwich planned for lunch. I also remembered to bring my cheese sticks and almonds to work for my snack. Maybe I can turn this day around. I sure need to. I've had way too many days that haven't been as good as they should. It's time to get back on track.

Tracking is a good thing. I neglect that the most. But hey, nobody is perfect. Just do your best, make the most nutritious choices, take a walk and enjoy your day. Repeat that everyday and soon you will be seeing the results. Yay! Go you! You can do this.

emoticon The only way to make it happen is with baby steps, eventually they add up to HUGE results! Good Job!
