Who is Sabotaging my efforts!

Wednesday, April 03, 2013

I worked hard to loss weight. Then I see people eating and want to eat or I smell food cooking. It is so difficult for me not to join in with people and eat foods I have ban in my diet. I feel like I have less. I feel hungry when my son is cooking and I have to remind myself that I already ate. I drink water or have plain tea. What do you do at these times?

ALL the suggestions. It isn`t easy but when you start seeing weight loss results and inches off ...it does get easier. you`ll feel very proud of the times you resisted. "KEEP PUSHING. I keep trying on clothes that are too small for me but I still want. It is a great encourager when they do fit after all my hard work. I call it "going shopping in my closet" emoticon emoticon

Pray and have a mantra - I know I can, I know I can. Grab the picture of what you want to be, stare and pray and hope tomorrow comes soon.

It is such a struggle I also have times when it is hard for me but I have to remind myself the benefits of what I am doing for myself versus what they are putting in their bodies. Sometimes it is best just to get up and do something else to get your mind off of it or take that time and do some kind of exercise. You can do this find that will power in yourself and just learn to say NO and it becomes more easy as you go. Have a great week!

I have to agree with Javajenn...it's all in that old saying, "Be Prepared"!!

Keep on keeping on...

I usually find something else to eat like celery with low calorie hummus or bean dip, or yogurt with some ground flax seed or oats added. Sometimes a cup of instant beef broth or hot tea and a glass of ice water. Then I find something else to do. Lighting a scented candle or incense in the room i'm in. Often the family member will ask what I'm eating and I get to explain the calories compared to what they are eating and the health benefits etc. Hope this helps. And I do understand. emoticon
