still eating too much----have to drink more water----

These are some thoughts running around my mind this morning--
All I ask for right now, is to get 10 pounds off the ol' body---(for now)-
Maybe I should ask the good Lord for strength to eat less from 4pm on---
Lord Love a Duck---
To-day I WILL only eat my calories allotted ----

I had piano yesterday and it went well----I enjoyed it!
But----right now the Germans are waiting for their walk----The fat cat has eaten and gone back to bed---
I need yer support Sparkly People-----10 pounds-10 pounds--I CAN do this--I CAN do this----LORD LOVE A DUCK!

    I have managed to control my snacking this week, and I feel great about it.

    HUGS oh virtual one and you CAN do it! One step-at-a-time. Walk a few steps more today. Measure and weigh the ol' food (UGH! I fail so miserably when I eyeball portions!)

    LOVE the pictures you posted!

    As for your goals, you can do this! You can plan, and then you can work your plan...one little step at a time. Maybe this week you can focus on what it takes to lose just half a pound or a pound of that total. I don't know you well enough yet to really say...it just works that way for me. :)

    Somebody here suggested to me that instead of trying so hard, maybe I could try "trying easy" for a bit and see how it worked. It did calm my bouncy mind, and settled me into an acceptance of my turtle-paced losing. Maybe you, too?

    You CAN! We're all "little ducks," and we are loved - you know that. So YES, I believe we can ask for and receive help to take steps toward better health. I'll be one of those here cheering you on, Jean!

    Yes you CAN. Measure out your portions instead of eyeballing them. Fill up on fiber and freggies. Above all emoticon

    Cabbage has only 18 calories in a 1 cup serving. I like it cut in wedges and steamed or baked in the oven with a lid on it. I add dry oats or ground flax seed to my yogurt. These are a few tricks I use to keep me full. Oh, and hummus or bean dip ( I leave out the oil, too many calories) you get protein from the beans, add whatever spices you like and it's very low calorie to use as a dip for celery or to put on multi grain bread. Hang in there emoticon
