My food has been really terrible this week, but today I'm going to really try and rein it in. If I can stay out of the stores this week, then all the clearance Easter candy will go in someone else's shopping cart!!!
My training is going okay. I did a brick on Monday, and I will probably do another tomorrow. It's hard to do bricks outside on my schedule! I'm stuck at the gym at 5:30am because it's the only time I have, and it's not light enough for cycling at that time. And it's been pretty cold this week. I'm hanging in there to get to those 60's that are being promised in IL this weekend!!! Anyway, I've been doing the bricks inside and I'm not crazy about doing that.
I got back to my ST routine this week and it felt good to be back! I used lighter dumbbells because it had been more than a week, but I think on Friday I will be back to the bigger ones. I'm dropping some of the lower-body ST exercises for the summer, since I'll be doing so much tri training.
Also this week, I've been fighting ANOTHER cold. It has to be that my food isn't great, so I have to get back at it. Too much sugar, and not enough veggies. And my throat has been scratchy, so less water too. Yesterday and the day before, I had quite a bit of hot tea with honey, so that's at least something!!!
School is killing me. I'm so sick of school and I want to be done. Last week, I signed up for 3 summer classes that I absolutely NEED, in order to student teach this fall. Fortunately they are all 4 weeks long so they will be almost done by the time my kids finish school for the summer.
Finally, I'm thinking about summer vacation. I want to go somewhere, anywhere, and lay on a beach in the sun!!! I think when I'm done with school, I just want to sleep on a beach for a week.
