Following up with my goal from Monday, I decided to take a walk around the school grounds at lunch on Tuesday. I started up my pedometer app and did one circle around the outside of the gates. I was happy to see that it was about 1KM to do one loop and then walk from the front gate to my classroom. I plan to start making that part of my Tuesday routine! Otherwise though, Tuesday was a hard day because I got food poisoning Monday night.
I went out to eat with my students Monday and thought I was being so goood.... they all ordered burgers and pizza, and I got a chicken caesar salad with dressing on the side... great choice, right? Wrong! About 4 hours later, started feeling some stomach cramping, and spend most of the night in and out of the bathroom :(
I suspect that it was the chicken or the dressing, but who knows. I was feeling a little better the next day, and I managed to get down a sweet potato and some soda crackers, and later some rice and vegetables for dinner. Ate about 800 calories. I did 15 minutes of yoga stretching in the morning, but my back and abs are so sore from the vomiting.
I'm trying to talk myself into working out today, but still don't feel that great even though my stomach is better.
