I think I overdid it a little yesterday. I did NOT want to get out of bed this morning, but I got up and took the dog for a 6 mile walk. His other two walks today were shorter though. All together we walked a little over 10 miles today. I also did a little yoga type stretching. I wouldn't call it actual yoga, since I don't really know what I am doing. I just do what feels good, or what I remember from the two classes I have attended. Tomorrow is a gym day, and I will go, but I might stick to just cardio, and give my other muscles an extra day to recover. My whole core is so sore as are my shoulders... and pretty much everything else. I usually feel even more sore the second day after a really intense workout, so I am guessing that I will still be sore tomorrow.
The weather is supposed to warm up this weekend, and actually be Spring like, so I will start running outside on a regular basis. I still haven't done anything about finding someone to run with me. I am intimidated by people who consider themselves "runners," which is silly, I know, but that is just the way I feel. I want someone to run with who can challenge me to push harder, but I don't want to feel like I am holding someone back. I guess for now I will continue to run by myself, and just landmarks and the clock to push myself.
