This is what I am left with after emptying my 3 boys baskets and eggs.
I am in way over my head here! Hoping I can overcome! Help!!

    Haha! Those baskets can be tempting! My first defense is to throw out what I don't really like, but the second is to give some away at work! Hide the basket in an out-of-sight spot so it's not staring at you all day -- a staring contest with chocolate is tricky!

    Find out how many min on the tredmill it takes to burn off one piece. Then every time you eat one you can tell yourself, that will cost me 5 min. Is it worth it? Probably not after all of your hard work.

    Take the entire basket down to your local fire station. The guys will love you for it and your kids will get a kick out of helping the firemen/women. Those guys work hard physically every day and can work those calories off easily.

    You can and will overcome!! Now, what do you want more? To dazzle them at your high school reunion? Feel great pride and giving it your best on your 5K? Meet some weight loss goals? Or eat some candy that will take you further away from your goals?

I got 4 bags of candy sitting right in front of me. I know what you mean, but I am not giving in this time as I usually do. Are you with me? emoticon

    Aieee! Okay. You are probably going to eat something. Pick a small quantity. FORCE yourself to track it, ahead of time, so that you know what you are doing. Get rid of the rest--share, donate, take it to work, whatever.

And enjoy whatever it is. Savour it! Life is for the living. Mmmmmmm.....

    Take it to work or throw it away....they're junk calories, treat them as such....don't think it's wasteful to dump them....you'll feel better than if you eat them!
