Easter got me! gained back the 2 i lost last week

Tuesday, April 02, 2013

When you reduce your activity and increase your calories the scale will tell on you! that is how i felt. However not going to be too upset about it. I know what I need to do.
Been great today got excerise and ate right. My cook was making one of my favorite dishes for the dinner tonight. I know hers is always good I got her to get someone else to taste it for me because I know if I had one bite I would have had more.It was honey mustard chicken she fries the floured chicken in oil then coats it with the sauce. The residents enjoy it.I came home and had pork loin and boiled potatoes.
The next challenge since easter is over is My daughters birthday is this week and it will not be one day it is a festiville. There will be 3 or 4 different days with cake with different family members that is what happens when grand parents remarry and such . I want a loss this week so I need to hammer out a plan for sure. Going to fill myself with all the right foods and only have one piece of cake need to decide which day. Hope every one else had a good day.

I remember one Christmas where I gained 5lbs in 5 days. Was I busy filling my face or what? Actually, not that any of us wants to gain weight, but only gaining 2lbs over a holiday weekend shows remarkable restraint. I know it can be discouraging to gain back weight you just lost, but I think you're doing great.

Holidays can be especially hazardous - Christmas is my weakness. It's the only time of the year when I eat sweets, believe it or not. I'm not a sweet eater so much as I am a bread and pastry eater. If there were only bread, butter, and tea, I could live just fine. It's the French Acadian coming right out in me.

I'm sure you'll figure out what you need to do to keep yourself in check. Hard to do down in the Maritimes though cause we love food and family and they go together in a big way. It's hard to say no, but I know you'll get through it.

I am in the same boat with birthdays, 3 birthdays this month, each with multiple celebrations.
