Painting by Norman Rockwell ... Kindly Dr caring for the little girl's dolly..
Well I had a kindly Dr that confirmed another diagnosis of "peripheral neuropathy" advanced in feet and beginning in hands. I was not surprised and also not surprised at no magic cure but a protection for feet and circulation and encouraged to loose weight and live and eat healthy...hmmm, sounds familiar. He was pleased with efforts in that direction in progress and shared some other ideas with me. The other two appointments were diagnostic tests and of course no results...will get them from the local Dr later. but they are all accomplished and today i am recuperating and tomorrow get back to progressing exercises and improving health.
For those in the Winter Challenge how are not discouraged...week 6 is often kind of a drag down week, especially if Easter Sunday was a bit of a splurge...adjust your determination hat and lets move forward towards health and away from those higher #s on the scale. God bless you each one.

I still have the bear safe, don't worry. Have had neurothy for years. Hate getting in the tub with my socks on and so many things drop thru my hands.

  Hi Linda...
I have that neuropathy condition also... in my feet and my legs. I have had it for many years. It began when I was fifty. I have numbness and tingling sensations.
I believe that it is a common thing; wish there could be a sure-fire cure. Perhaps this is an inherited affliction because my dad and his sister suffered with leg circulation problems. I am wondering if compression stockings are helpful. A recent lecture I attended, the doctor (a young man) said he wears compression socks every day. Hope that you have excellent medical care, Linda, and best wishes to you in the journey towards good health!

At least the results were not surprising to you albeit not pleasant to hear. Glad you have a plan to continue doing healthy things. emoticon
