Tuesday, one of my favorite days of the week! It's a day that usually goes by quickly in anticipation of the time that I get to spend with my little granddaughter after work. It's cold outside, so we probably won't go out to play today.
It's been snowing off and on all day. I've taken the day off from exercise, the first one in a long time. I overdid it yesterday with my C210K workout, so I'm giving my knee a rest. It's driving me crazy though, I really want to go for a walk, hop on the treadmill or go for a run. I just have to keep telling myself not today, tomorrow is soon enough, and it will be good for my knee to have the day off!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ read my mantra
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ 15 flights of stairs
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ weigh and measure food today
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuf
