It has been three weeks. I stopped tracking that long ago. I gained 5 pounds quickly. Fortunately it seems to have leveled off.
3 weeks ago I stopped tracking. I had been down to 172, I have gotten back up to 177. I find that this last week, despite a candy holiday and everyone being sick, I leveled off. I did not gain nor did I lose. Perhaps I can get back to losing now that everyone is feeling well enough to go back to school/work. I get my alone time again, so I can do my daily walks since it has gotten warmer again. I've barely been moving the last few weeks because of all the colds going around our home.
I still don't feel like tracking, so I'll give it another week before I decide if I'm going to start up again. Perhaps I really can work on losing without tracking, but I feel like I won't be able to do it in reality. If I can at least maintain what I have right now, then I will be fine for a while. I won't allow myself to get above 180 again.
My mom is feeling better too, so we will be back to our weekly outings again soon! The snow has melted enough to do some urban GeoCaching and she can see well enough to drive short distances. The air bubble in her eye has dissolved and she's just waiting for the bleeding to stop.
Since we all had colds, we didn't go over to my parent's house so we wouldn't pass along those germs to a healing person. We'll probably do Easter egg hunting at her home next week.
So things are looking up again this week and life will be back to normal again. I will be able to lose those 5 pounds again and hopefully I'll prove to myself I can do it without tracking because my tastes and habits have changed enough from what I was doing a year ago.
