Quinoa is often thought to be a grain but it is classified as a seed according to the Plan. It is a great substitute for rice.
Having reached goal I felt comfortable enough to test something new, so I cooked up some quinoa, stir fried some veggies and added a pork chop. This was a double test - the quinoa and a carb-protein combo.
The quinoa and veggies were a wonderful combination - something to have more often. even DH likes it :)
The good news is that I'm not reactive to quinoa - another friendly food to add to the list!
