I'm happy to tell you that in the two months I've been back to Spark - I have met my quarter goal to get under 207 pounds!
It is a bittersweet accomplishment because I am still 4 pounds above where I was when I first started sparking back in 2010. But I want to mention the things that I can do at 206 pounds now (after 2 months of training) that I couldn't do at 203 pounds in 2010.
- I recognize a portion (bought a food scale, and now can "see" the portion without it)
- I can do 30 minutes of HIIT with the elliptical
- Think about exercise beyond my workout (fitbit for the win)
- I am hopeful for continued success
Yes, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't want to start with the 150 mark on the scale instead of the 200 mark ASAP. But I am grateful that the U turn in my journey to health over the past three years has brought me back with the energy to push past 200 pounds.
Now if you excuse me, I'm late for a very important date in Onederland!
