After all this mental preparation. All the physical preparation. I woke up and did cardio at 5:30 am! I did it. ME. This girl. This girl who always gets in her, BROKE through the mental block and Just did it!
I did it!
How did I finally get here? Determination and lots of it.
Last week. I had to flex my time on Wednesday at work. So instead of just sleeping in I decided to wake up at the same time and work out. It made me remember WHY I am doing this. I felt so amazing at work after that and the rest of the day. It made me remember why my goal was to wake up at 5:30 am and work out. So after a crazy work week, when the hubs and I did are road trip for the in laws at Easter Time, I just kept reminding myself, "It is time."
I listened to fitness podcasts all the way up there and back. Mostly Jillian Michaels.
If you haven't stumbled on to podcasts yet, PLEASE check them out. Most of these are FREE lectures or talks/discussions with people you would most likely pay hundreds of dollars to listen to at a seminar.
They are amazing.. Please check them out. I found some Jillian Michaels podcasts, some Gabrielle Bernstein, some odds and ends of people talking about paleo diets.
I just listened. I listened and let the info sink in. The main point being, stop making excuses for yourself and putting your life on hold because of your weight. Get out there and do it!
It was like an alignment in my mind. I loved it.
REMEMBER WHY. that is all I kept telling myself this morning. Remember this feeling. Remember this moment.
