Still in my boot. Saw my internal medicine doctor yesterday since I was due for labs. It was a new doctor. Liked him a lot better. He reviewed my echo with me. Not much change except I have the beginnings of CHF. He could really hear it. He ordered the labs, did it in a way that I could have them without fasting. Because my liver function came back abnormal last time and has before he ordered extra tests plus an abdominal ultrasound. Got the labs done, scheduled the ultrasound. You have to fast for 4 hours before hand and eat fat free the day before. So today I'm eating fat free. It isn't that easy. I have regular foods at home, I buy very few fat free items because they usually have other stuff added. I do have fat free milk, and a cereal. The cereal is naturally fat free. So fat free yogurt. When looking at labels, I noticed a lot of foods have fat in them. Oatmeal, some veggies, bread. It isn't that easy to go fat free for the day. I will probably be grumpy by the end of the day. The ultrasound is scheduled for first thing in the morning so that will make things easier. And the location is only 10 minutes from home so afterwards I can come home and get my caffeine and breakfast.

Easter was good. Went to church. Spent time with the family. We watched the Bible on tv. And Ben-Hur. Since the weather wasn't nice I didn't mind being stuck inside.

Have things to do around the apartment today. So I will be busy but will find time for prop my foot up.

    I watched a good part of the Bible, but since I'm not a great follower of series I missed some episodes. I had read about it in an interview with Roma Downey, she and her husband Mark Burnett produced the miniseries.
Glad you had a Good Easter, praying your tests go well.

    So glad you had a great Easter. I missed The Bible on TV and I'm really sorry about that, everyone is talking about how great it is. Hope all goes well with your ultrasound. emoticon
