My Brain Is Foggy

Tuesday, April 02, 2013

im tired and sore and my fibromyalgia is really kicking my butt today
the fibro fog is really bad
i cant remember much of anything today...

and im tired of people telling me to get better soon cause they do not understand my pain..

fibromyalgia does not heal. it will not go away. its not a sickness that visits and leaves. its something i have to live with for the rest of my life .

I wish fibromyalgia was more common so people were more understanding and better educated about it

Gentle hugs, praying for you to find strength and peace with fibro and the other issues in your life...I would love to come along side you more that a computer will allow. I have a 32 year old daughter, who is not healthy but struggles towards health each day and thankfully also loves the Lord and has yielded her life to Him.
For the fibro, I would encourage you to keep a running journal in columns
How Feel physically, how I feel mentally, how I feel spiritually and what am I eating/doing/ hearing. try to find foods that trigger the bad feelings, the people or encounters that hurt you and the activities that really increase the pain and fog. after a few weeks, add another area to evaluate..what am I doing to change it?

Keep us in the loop so we can encourage.

Fibromyalgia, like multiple sclerosis, is a silent illness. We look fine on the outside but people have no idea. I understand and feel for you. What I have learned to do is only share with the people in my life who respect me and love me, and that way I don't get the useless words, etc. I hope tonight you can find some relief. (((Gentle Hugs)) for you. emoticon Love, Chelsea emoticon

My aunt has fibromyalgia. It is hard to see what she goes through and hear how little people know about the disease.

I'm sorry you are having a difficult day. I hope tomorrow is a much better day. emoticon

I am familiar with this because I have a very good friend who has Fibromyalgia. She amazes me with the way she can fight this pain. She eats right and exercises even on days when she is fighting the pain and we who play golf with her are in awe of the strength she possesses physical and mental.

I understand some of what you are going through because my MIL has Fibromyalgia as well. some days she is better than others. We have had good success in managing more of the issues once she went on a vegan diet with almost no animal meat. and increased beans legumes and veggies.
I hope today is more comfortable for you as i know the weather changes really make her days and symptoms worse.
