I said no to cake

Monday, April 01, 2013

Well my title on this blog may be a little misleading but I really did say "NO" to my self and would not have a second piece, when I went in the kitchen, saw the cake again and no one was around.

Right now I'm pretty proud of that 'cause it's a start. I have been having a "pitty-party" again and allowing my self to get out of control with things like that.

I still could use more prayers and intervention to get by the cake, or may be I can send it to work with my husband and have it out of the house

Happy Sparking,
Karen

I always send things with my husband. Too much temptation if they hang around the house. I can resist for a while, but then... Just better to remove temptation!

I'd have to send it with hubby 'cause I hear it every time it calls and it calls A LOT!!! At least I just take small mini-pieces but it still adds up.

emoticon It is really hard to say no to cake and I am so proud of you for being able to do that. And sending the leftovers with your hubby to work is a great way to get rid of temptation!

Good on you! You've made progress!

I made the Easter carrot cake - one layer. I put nuts in it and frosted it, put coconut "grass on it along with peeps and jelly bellys. Hubbys. The rest of the batter, sans nuts, went into a mini muffin pan. No frosting, just a few bites. I confess - I've been giving in to the jelly beans.
