Getting results

There are as many plans to lose weight as there are people trying to lose weight. I won't go too far in depth here as I have already covered multiple plans in previous blogs.

I am trying to figure out how to get my rear end back on track which means re-visiting some previous topics.

I don't believe that you have to give up all things good and tasty in order to lose weight. I believe the word is moderation.

Some food groups are good to eliminate albeit not all.

You need to do what works for you, not your sister cousin aunts friend.

I know for me, a few things need to happen.

1. I need to get off the sugar
2. I need to get off carbs and all things wheat
3. I need to exercise
4. I need to track my calories
5. I need to tackle the problem of emotional eating

I return to PA/NJ in October which gives me 6 months to lose weight and get in better shape. I have an elliptical that I need to use daily. I have a supportive family and I have a desire to make it happen.

So how do I make this happen?

I usually follow the "Go big or go home" mentality. But I don't think it's going to work this time.

Step 1: I need to plan, pack and track all meals the night before.

Step 2: I need to get on the elliptical 10 minutes daily

Step 3: I need to read the articles on emotional eating and start keeping a journal.

Step 4: I need to detox from sugar and wheat which can be done with menu planning.

Step 5: I need to come up with my motivators and make them visible.

I can do this. I have you do this. I want to do this.

    I love you all! Such incredible support and encouragement really makes a difference! Tiffany, why did we NOT take a picture together!!!!!????? Smh, getting off the sugar is definitely the hardest for me. And now I am looking at all sorts of candy and pop in the house from this weekend *sigh*

    You have a great plan, you know what to're halfway there! The hardest part is to get off the sugar cycle, IMHO. But you can do it!

Can't wait to see you again in 6 months...we should have taken a before pic together last weekend so we could see how far we've come in Oct!
