So, it seems I've lost in some areas, gained in others. I've a thicker waist, hips, etc. But slimmer thighs. Interesting.
Dinner tonight was a salad of two of the larger leaves of a small gem lettuce, a 200g (5oz?) rump steak (I know, too big) and a small onion/large spring onion, a red pepper, and a sweet potatoe. I dressed the steak with some buttery spread, minced garlic and fresh rosemary. It was awesome, though I know the steak is too big and the salad was too heavy on the onion. I ate at about 7. I was feeling pretty full and chilled after dinner, and watched a movie on urban legends (NOT Urban Legend lol) and planned to do...something...later.
About an hour after I finished my dinner, I felt peckish for something sweet so I had 1.5 cups of fruit salad (no added sugar) with yogurt and sunflower seeds. That doesn't quite do it, though; I'm reaching for the last few Quality Streets right after.
At 9, I'm feeling energetic. Not in the hyper way, but in the "could happily do a little workout" way, so I'm browsing Spark People for some inspiration. I hurt my knee a little earlier, so I have to be gentle with myself. By 9:30 I've found a desk workout I can do, and researched what to do about the knee.
At 10, I finally got to do the work-out; only a little 12 minute seated core workout on Spark-people, but better than nothing, and there's no risk of straining my knee further this way. Random though this may seem, I also oiled my new boots while I waited for the video to load, and made a new friend on Omegle. However, I was already feeling hungry again before I even finished the work-out, so put a little (2 tbsp) of oats on a simmer with a cup of water and a cup of milk in an attempt to make a very watery porridge before bed. I'm not planning to add any sugar to it, and I can't find any honey, so I guess I'm having it plain. I'd add some cinnamon but I doubt that will do much for me (I have sweetened cinnamon very often). I guess a little sugar won't hurt...just a teaspoon.
That porridge with cinnamon and sugar is the last thing I'll have before bed, with another glass of water. Since I have nothing to be up for in the morning, I'm going to bed at midnight. I'm still ill with a cold. I have no stress right now, and have actually had quite a good day. I have no stresses planned for tomorrow.
